WHAT TO EXPECT

Before Treatment

Your provider will prep you for your treatment normally, including taking your photos and administering any necessary numbing. We will then explain how the ProNox system works and provide you with your one time use mouthpiece. After this, you will begin self-administering your ProNox by taking normal breaths through the mouthpiece. You will begin to feel the analgesic effect within 1-3 minutes. ProNox is not anesthesia and will not put you “to sleep” it will just relax you. Once you feel comfortable, your provider will begin treatment.

During Treatment

You can continue inhaling the ProNox as much or as little as you wish for the duration of your procedure. Once your treatment is over, you will need to wait for 5-10 minutes for the ProNox to wear off prior to driving home.
