Years ago, laser resurfacing meant weeks of downtime and months of redness. Our trained nurses will take pictures and apply a topical numbing for 20 minutes prior to your procedure beginning. For this treatment, injectable numbing may also be used. Once the treatment begins, it will take about 40 minutes.

There is some discomfort during the procedure. We offer Pronox to help make you more comfortable as well as topical numbing. Afterwards, your skin will feel hot like a sunburn and this will last for 2-3 hours. It should not hurt after the treatment.

TOTAL FX is a safe treatment in the hands of an experienced professional. We recommend avoiding any laser treatment for at least 2 weeks before going into the sun and at least 2 weeks after having been in the sun.

You should see results in texture and brown sports within a couple weeks of the treatment but best results will be seen after 3-6 months once your collagen building starts.

Over the next 6 months you will continue to tighten as collagen is remodeled under your skin. People with severe acne scarring may need more than one treatment depending on the depth of their scars.
